ZCode

Validates Z.ai ZCode project configuration and plugin packages against ZCode's open-source loader. Project rules check subagent frontmatter in .zcode/agents/*.md and the hooks and mcp sections of .zcode/config.json, where a single misplaced hooks key makes ZCode discard the whole file. Plugin rules check .zcode-plugin/plugin.json manifests, the hooks a ZCode-only plugin ships (ZCode runs seven events and command/process handlers), and the root marketplace.json catalog of a ZCode marketplace.

ZCode reads AGENTS.md for instructions, Agent Skills from .zcode/skills/ and .agents/skills/, and commands from .zcode/commands/, all of which receive skillsaw's shared content and security checks.

A plugin that ships both .zcode-plugin/ and .claude-plugin/ manifests keeps its Claude Code results: Claude reads the shared hooks/hooks.json and .mcp.json too.

The rules enable on three separate conditions. Project rules need a .zcode/ directory holding skills/, commands/, agents/, workflows/ or config.json. Plugin rules need a .zcode-plugin/plugin.json. Marketplace rules also need a repository-root marketplace.json and no .claude-plugin/marketplace.json.
